This is Gary. Mr Whitfield himself.
Creative. Professional. Detail-Focused.
Growing up and even to this day, I find a solace and deep enjoyment when going to the cinema. The huge screen, the dim lights before the show and the sudden blast of music. Sensory assault aside, I always found myself wanting to be part of making movies, to craft a story for people to see it play out and feel how I did at the cinema.
I feel a wealth of pride when I make a wedding film as I know that the audience are people I've come to know, have understood and I give them back something they wanted, but don't expect. This is why I love wedding videography.

Why Weddings
As person, my friends tell me I'm suave and urbane. A gentleman to a fault. I have a fashion sense that looks pull right out of Downton Abbey Or Peaky Blinders as I love my collection of waistcoats. My choice in attire is one reason I love good wedding as it's the one day everyone looks their best for. You can feel the pride at the venue like you breath air.
The other reason I pursued wedding videography as a career is that I have worked for big and small companies alike. And I felt the same in each one. I'm working for someone else's agenda. Well, no more. I work for me. And I give back to you.
A Little More
For a long time, I’ve feel I've been trapped in jobs that didn't value me or my input. Where I worked on someone else's vision and there was no place for me to grow creatively.
Well, one day I committed to my creative wants and I bought a camera and I filmed. I made promotional videos for conventions as a pet project of mine and it turned out I had a gift.
So what do you do with a gift in video production, a wealth of experience in excellent customer service and a desire to create movies? You merge your working skills, with your creative needs and your desire to work for yours.
Thank you for reading a little bit about me, and I very much look forward to chatting to you and your partner about your big day.
